It still exists as a branch of the Naval Service.\r\n\r\nThe badge for the Royal Corps of Naval Constructors has the Royal coat-of- arms of the United Kingdom at the centre. The quartered shield, containing the guardant lions of England, the rampant lion of Scotland and the harp for Ireland. The shield, surrounded by a garter containing the words: \u2018HONI SOIT QUI MALI PENSE\u2019 (\u2018shame on anyone who thinks evil of it\u2019), is held by a lion and a unicorn, both resting on a banner which reads: \u2018DIEU ET. MON DROIT\u2019 (\u2018God and my right\u2019). The coat-of-arms is set against a field brown, circled by a thick light blue band containing the title: ROYAL CORPS OF NAVAL CONSTRUCTORS. At the bottom, there is an anchor. The badge is topped by a Naval Crown.
