DescriptionCreated in 1961 by the Bailey (Malta) Ltd Merchant Ship Design Office. The complex curves of a hull's shell plating could not be easily drawn on plan in the era before computers. Shipbuilders therefore used a scaled-down half-block model of the hull as a working production tool and marked plate-lines with ink. InscriptionsNumbered measurements in black ink.
