DescriptionThis is the coat-of-arms of the Armed Forces of Malta.The badge takes the form of a shield representing on a field red, an Or tower, with Or bordure. The tower is a "De Redin" tower, a coastal watch tower, which replaced the British crown. This type of tower was selected because the watch tower was extensively used during the rule of the Order of St. John.Underneath, is a banner with the words 'ARMED FORCES OF MALTA.'
