In November 2016 she rescued migrants for the Mediterranean sea while patrolling off the Libyan coast as part of the EUNAVFOR's Operation Sophia.\r\n\r\nThe border of oval-shaped bronze badge bears the words in Latin 'EX HOSTIBUS ET IN HOSTES' at the top part of the border, which translate to 'The enemy against the enemy,' and at the bottom is 'FRAGATA \"NAVARRA\" F85,' the name of the ship.
