It depicts On a Field Silver, a Pheon Red. Three holes seems to have served to help mount the badge when in use. The red pheon motif is directly linked to the crest of the Wishart family, associated with Scotland.\r\n\r\nLaunched in July 1919, H.M.S Wishart belonged to the modified W-class destroyers of the Royal Navy. It started its career in the interwar period in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
