From 1968, twelve of the total of 18 KM Ships class 320 were converted to mine hunting Ships (MJ Ships) of class 331 A and 331 B. All twelve MJ Ships were placed under the 4th MSG. With the arrival of the Marburg , the conversion was completed in 1979. The badge contains a central shield on a field white, a displayed eagle flying on top of a floating mine on blue waves.
