The upper half of the circular image shows a hound with a collar, intently gazing at a war plane right above it. The two wings of the plane are marked with a cross each. The collar serves to connect the two halves of the image, the lower one of which contains the mirror image of the same hound. This hound looks down onto the surface of the sea where there is an emerging submarine.Six small holes around the outer circle as well as further holes seem to have served to mount the badge when in use. Although this badge could not be identified as to which ship it belongs, it may have been a pattern idea design for H.M.S Bulldog.</value></field><field label="Depth" name="depth"><value>16.5000000000</value></field><field label="Inscriptions" name="inscribed"><value>On verso, top, in black ink "Reg. 1126 MM/1064 20145-6".</value></field><field label="Dimensions" name="dimensions"><value>Overall: 16.5 × 16.5 cm, 0.1 kg</value></field><field label="Museum" name="department"><value>Malta Maritime Museum</value></field><field label="Alternate ID Numbers" name="altNums"><value>82414</value><value>EEA.1819</value><value>20145-6</value><value>1126</value></field><field label="Public Access" name="onview"><value>0</value></field><field label="Object Type" name="textEntriesObjecttype"><value>Pattern Badge</value></field><field label="Node" name="node"><value>Heritage Malta</value></field><field label="Source ID" name="sourceId"><value>77</value></field><field label="Material" name="textEntriesMaterial"><value>Wood</value></field><field label="Technique" name="textEntriesTechnique"><value>Carved in wood.</value></field><field label="Place of Manufacture" name="textEntriesPlacemade"><value>Malta</value></field></object>
