Different tonalities of the wood, highlights its manufacture from different pieces.\r\n\r\nLaunched in May 1917 and originally named H.M.S Wallace, H.M.S Vampire belonged to the V-class destroyers of the Royal Navy. The vessel was loaned to the Royal Australian Navy in 1933. During WW2, it carried out escort duties in the Mediterranean.
