A pair of wyverns had featured flanking the main body of the coat-of-arms of the first Duke of Marlborough.\r\n\r\nH.M.S Marlborough was an Iron Duke-class dreadnought battleship of the Royal Navy, named in honour of the first Duke of Marlborough. The vessel was launched in October 1912. During WW1, it took part in the Battle of Jutland, hit by and eventually causing the demise of SMS Wisbaden.
