The work is a 20th century (1980s) painting however it was made to look as if it was painted in the 18th century. The yellowing varnish was done on purpose to create the aged look. The barge is depicted on the foreground of the picture plane, containing two sails. The central flag depicts the coat-of-arms of Grandmaster Vilhena, while three others show the flag of the Order (on field red, white cross). One other flag is a bluish-green pennant. The background is mostly occupied by the sky, while the bottom quarter shows some mountaineous islets.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Art / Paintings</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://emuseum.heritagemalta.mt/objects/616/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/5991/full</schema:image><schema:name>Fregata - 1650</schema:name><schema:creator>Kitsy Morrison, Joseph Muscat</schema:creator><schema:creator>Kitsy Morrison</schema:creator><schema:artForm>Art / Paintings</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://emuseum.heritagemalta.mt/objects/595/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/6012/full</schema:image><schema:name>Galley of the Order of the Knights of St. John</schema:name><schema:creator>Joseph Muscat</schema:creator><schema:creator>Joseph Muscat</schema:creator><schema:description>This oil painting shows a large Galley of the Order of St. John ("Gran Galione" or "Capitana"), a highly ornamented multi-oared ship, with enormous sails. The sails were usually striped, with a large eight-pointed cross painted in the centre. It not only carried the artillery required, but was fully complemented with skilled men and knights. There is a missing oar to the right, the space was taken by a hen coop, the cook also worked from there.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Art / Paintings</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://emuseum.heritagemalta.mt/objects/571/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/6060/full</schema:image><schema:name>Il Petacchio attaccato si salva 19 Marzo 1610</schema:name><schema:creator>Joseph Muscat</schema:creator><schema:creator>Joseph Muscat</schema:creator><schema:description>Naive maritime art.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Art / Paintings</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://emuseum.heritagemalta.mt/objects/674/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></schema:itemListElement><schema:itemListElement><schema:VisualArtwork><schema:image>/internal/media/dispatcher/6062/full</schema:image><schema:name>Pad.
