Description(R.) A study of a woman kneeling facing left in profile view with her hands resting on a stool. She wears a mantle and a veil. This is a preparatory figure study for a painting by Antoine Favray showing the interior of St John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta, which is at the State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg. (V.)
