DescriptionThree new double-ended passenger and vehicle ferries were to be entirely constructed by Malta Shipbuilding under a contract with Gozo Channel Line in 1996. One of them was the 1,100-ton Malita, which was delivered in 2002. All three are still in use connecting Malta and Gozo.
