DescriptionConstruction began as "Loch" class "LOCH HEILEN" but renamed "MORECAMBE BAY" and completed as a "Bay" class. Construction suspended in summer-1945 and was resumed in 1948 by White at Cowes. Sold to Portugal on 9 May 1961 and renamed "DOM FRANCISCO DEL ALMEIDA" when delivered on 3 August 1961.
