She was designed to support amphibious landing operations and to support the staff of Commander UK Amphibious Force and Commander UK Landing Force.On a blue field, the god Poseidon in white, holding a trident in his right hand and a conch in his left on waves. The image is surrounded by a gold twisted rope below a naval crown.InscriptionsOn recto "OCEAN".Annotations and MarksOn verso, upper central part sticker reads "Hand painted by GK Beaulah & Co Ltd Heritage House 23 Park Street Hull HU2 8RU England Tel UK (0) 1482 223521 Fax UK (0) 1482 216328 Email gkb@beaulah.co.uk". Also written in blue ink on sticker "MM/1925". The latter is however incorrect, and it was thus struck off and the correct number "MM/1915" was writtten in pencil.Material
