DescriptionIn this landscape, three seated figures, possibly friars, are resting along a path next to a high rocky wall surrounded by forest. In the distance, a fourth figure is crossing a suspended pathway bridging a waterfall. Annotations and MarksOn recto, lower right corner on mount in pencil:'late 17th/& beg. 18th cent.'
