DescriptionThis is the badge of German Training Squadron 5. Minensuchgeschwader of the German Navy. She was one of the sister ships ordered by the German politician Franz Josef Strauss.
The badge has a central representation of On Azure field, an Argent trident. It is surrounded by the coats-of-arms of ten German cities namely: Hameln, Überherrn, Laboe, Pegnitz, Siegburg, Auerbach, Herten, Passau, Ensdorf, and Kulmbach.
