DescriptionThe badge of HMS Repulse, confirmed in 1916. HMS Repulse was one of two Renown-class battlecruisers built for the Royal Navy during the First World War. The badge depicts On a Field red an eagle alighting on a rook, facing dexterwings half raised. Official design. The circular shape indictaes that the Ship was a battlecruiser. Colour of field is red and differs from Admiralty Ships' Badges Committee description. Design cannot have been in use before 1919. No bolt holes for attachment to vessel.
