DescriptionPattern for ship's badge of the shape of a heraldic shield depicting a scallop shell. The border of the shield is slightly elevated mimicking a stranded rope. Taking part in escort duties in WW2, the vessel operated in the Atlantic and Arctic convoy routes sinking several U-boats. In 1942, it provided assistance for the Malta convoy operations (Operation Bellows).InscriptionsOn verso, in pencil "Keppel Boat Badges of Metal g 18-5-35 M.C.D" and in black ink "Reg. 1124 MM/1062 20141-2".Material
