DescriptionPattern for ship's badge of the shape of a heraldic shield depicting a statant cat on a crescent moon, opening leftward. Cats and moons are symbols traditionally associated with witches. Its upper, horizontal side, contains the name of the vessel mounted on a rectangular shape. The badge is topped by a Naval Crown. Launched in November 1919, H.M.S Witch (D89) belonged to the modified W-class destroyers of the Royal Navy.
