DescriptionHMS Resolution was a Royal Sovereign-class 15in gun Battleship laid down on 29 November 1913. The badge has the motto 'RESOLUTE AND VIGILANT'. It shows On a Field Red a mounted knight in tilting with lance in rest, all Gold.InscriptionsOn recto "Resolute and Vigilant".Annotations and MarksOn verso, centre white sticker "C.H. Munday Limited Oxford House 8 St. John's Road St. John's, Woking Surrey GU21 1SE Tel: 04862 71588 Fax: 0483 756627 Suppliers of wall shields and ties to special order". Written in blue ink also on the sticker "MM/1610".Material
