DescriptionThe badge is circle-shaped and it depicts a stylised, sturdy-looking pine tree. The border of the badge is elevated, mimicking a stranded rope. On its uppermost part we find the vessel's name in a rectangular box, toped with a naval crown. An evergreen tree, the pine is often regarded as a symbol of longevity or eternity.

The badge seems to have belonged to two vessels of the Royal Navy.InscriptionsOn recto "STURDY".Material
