DescriptionThe pattern for the ship's badge is round, made up of two wooden, concentric circles, one on top of the other. It represents a chaplet of eight roses.

Launched in April 1943, H.M.S Rosario was one of the Algerine-class minesweepers, renowned for their speed and efficiency in the Royal Navy. In 1944 it sailed to Malta to be deployed for minesweeping off the island.
